Social Engineering

Social Engineering is the psychological manipulation of people into performing actions or divulging confidential information. Assero Security has developed a signature testing method, available both as an onsite or remote assessment.  When onsite, our experts will use various techniques such as 'Trusted Authority', 'Dumpster Diving', or ‘'Tailgating' to gain physical access to files, records, and/or other assets that may contain confidential information.  Remotely, we will deploy phishing and pharming attacks on your email server to get personnel to divulge their usernames and passwords to gain entry into your company's internal network.
